Sophie, a mum from London She tried out this stroller on her two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. It was easy to maneuver and very smooth on streets with cobbles, even when the ground was slick. 4. Joovy Twin Roo+
The Twin Roo+ is a frame stroller with a minimalist design that provides car seat compatibility. It also has a large storage container. It's one of the lightest twin strollers on the market. It weighs 24 lbs without attachments for infant car seats which is on the lighter side for a double stroller. It is slightly heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide and is easy to use. It snaps together easily and can be road-ready in just 10 minutes. It doesn't come with an integrated canopy therefore your children will have to wear their own sunshades if you require additional protection from the elements.
Through our tests, we discovered that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that performed well. It can maneuver through all terrains, but it has issues with grassy areas as well as over gravel. It can be difficult to maneuver over and up curbs that are 1 inch high. We wouldn't recommend using this stroller off the road or on stairs, however it does have a great suspension to reduce bumps for the passengers.
Although the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage container but it's not easy to access without taking off the infant car seats. This is a problem that's common with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy offers an additional under-seat baby carrier bag that can help address this issue.
Unlike other top-scoring models, the Roo+ does not have an auto-standing fold or cup holders. This is a small sacrifice for car seat compatibility and storage features however we'd prefer to have more flexibility from our strollers. The flexibility of its seating configuration is a benefit, however, as it allows parents to place their infant car seats facing in opposite directions or in the same direction to better suit their requirements.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
The Delta Children LX Side by Side received a top score both for the weight and fold size making it the best value in our double umbrella stroller review. It also scored highly in maneuverability, which is a key aspect for parents looking for a travel pram that can be tucked away in small spaces. The Delta is a basic model and does not have the features other strollers we have tested like a large storage basket or a wide recline. It's a great choice for families on a limited budget or for those who only require a second stroller for occasional use such as for a trip to the Zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is an extremely light and compact stroller. It is simple to turn and push. Its comparatively short frame, swivel front wheels and padding for the shoulder pads ensure a smooth ride for your little ones. The multi-position reclining seats as well as parent cup holders make it comfortable for passengers.
It also comes with a large canopy that is European style that offers shade from the sun and some protection from light winds. It also comes with two storage bags as well as the five-point safety harness, and two storage bags.
The Delta was assembled in less than three minutes, the quickest time of all the test groups. Pushchairs And Prams isn't great and the assembly doesn't require tools. It is one of the lighter items in our test group and can fold flat, making it easy to lift and carry. In our Strollers & Multiples test, we rated the ease and comfort with the ease with which each product can be pushed and turned open and closed safety harness, adjusted the brakes, opened and closed the storage basket and even removed and put in the infant car seat.
